Kate had almost a decade of experience in local government before joining ROSS Planning.

Her roles have included managing aspects of sport and recreation, cultural services, tourism, business management, community engagement, community development and governance.

Kate’s commitment to engaging with local communities has proven successful in managing large scale projects that have met or exceeded the desired standard, while realising the client’s vision. She demonstrates her passion for local communities through delivery of services, programs and projects.

Kate believes in tailoring an individual consultation approach for each community and in building a relationship with the community, which is particularly important where change is required, or there are polarised views that need to be considered.

She uses her advanced negotiation, training and assessment skills with her passion for local communities to develop projects in line with community and local government expectations.
