ROSS Planning has been engaged to develop a master plan that includes both short-term major projects (so that this funding can be used effectively) and an ultimate long-term vision. In order to produce a best-fit outcome, extensive consultation has been undertaken with both existing and potential user groups and the wider community.

Under New Management
Tuesday, 31 August 2010 13:49

To our valued colleagues and friends

Scott Alston established ROSS Planning in 2003. As you would know, since that time the company has developed into a leading consultancy specialising in recreation, open space and sport planning. Having led this growth, Scott has recently made the decision to enjoy semi-retirement (retirement from management at least). Having been employed as Senior Consultants for the past four years, Dion Collins and Scott Walker have purchased the business and will take over the reins as Managing Directors.

While Scott will be exploring his other passion (photography) more, he will continue working with ROSS Planning as a Senior Consultant.

Dion and Scott intend on furthering the growth of the company and building upon the status achieved under Scott Alston’s leadership. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our ties with you in each of our new roles within our dynamic organisation. Please note that all contact details and business location will remain the same.

Yours sincerely

Scott Alston, Dion Collins and Scott Walker

Palm Island Sport, Recreation and Cultural Plan
Monday, 17 May 2010 14:42

palm island for webPalm Island Aboriginal Shire Council recently invited ROSS Planning to prepare a Sport, Recreation and Cultural Plan. Located about 65 kilometres northwest of Townsville this community of about 4,000 people inhabit a beautiful but isolated island that is very dependent upon air and sea travel to connect them to the mainland.

We have commenced initial consultation but will be back in early June to undertake the majority of the consultation with the community, key organisations, Councillors, school children and others. Posters will be put up around town this week with the key dates. If you have any questions please contact Andrea at the Council on 4770 1177.
