Logan Metro Sports Park Master Plan

This master plan is a 20-year vision for a 105 hectare landfill site. As much of the landfill has been closed for 10 years, work has already started, with six fields completed and an $18 million indoor sport centre under construction.

This park will be the focus of sporting developments in Logan for many years. It will be capable of hosting high level competitions in many sports. The design has ensured the fields are not constrained by lights or infrastructure, so that they can quickly be re-marked for a different code, offering multiple fields within close proximity.

Cleveland Showgrounds Master Plan

Redland City Council engaged ROSS Planning to prepare a master plan that energised the old Showground. The site is used by more than 4,500 people per week for sport, recreation and community activities.

The master plan introduced recreation activities that were not catered for previously, made use of stormwater, and provided a flexible exhibition space, while improving the sporting outcomes of the site.

Redland City Council has actively pursued the master plan, with many of its elements now in place.
